News regarding our ownership structure

As you probably know, we have been a company of the BayWa r.e. Group since 2013. That has changed in the last few days.

Today, we are pleased to announce that we will have a new shareholder, Natural Power Ltd, based in Castle Douglas, Scotland, UK, an international renewable energy consulting company.

Natural Power has significant international experience and has subsidiaries in the UK, France, Ireland, Italy and the USA.
As with renerco plan consult, the service focus is exclusively on renewable energies and includes wind energy (onshore and offshore), PV, hydropower, grid and sector coupling with battery storage and heat supply.
In its 30 years of operation, it has delivered over 500 GW of renewable energy projects to more than 70 countries.  It employs more than 550 staff across 13 international offices.
Its experience extends across all phases of the project lifecycle from initial feasibility study through construction to operation and all phases of transactions.

Natural Power itself is owned by the Olsen family from Norway via their UK-based privately held investment company, which looks back on a history of over 175 years. As early as the 1990s, the importance of renewable energies for our future was recognized by the family and they have successively developed renewable companies as an important line of their business. Fred.
