While the Climate Cabinet meets in Berlin and one of the most important UN summits of the year is being prepared in New York, one of the biggest climate strikes of all time is planned for 20 September. This time not only young people and children should get involved, a broad alliance of companies, NGOs and private individuals is called upon to take to the streets for more climate protection.
As always, Greta Thunberg sets the example for us. She recently crossed the Atlantic in a sailing boat to take part in the global climate protest week in the USA and Canada from 20 to 27 September and in the UN climate summit in New York. She will then travel south to Chile, where the UN Climate Change Conference will take place in December. And she has yet again a message for us: "We should use the power of democracy to be heard, so that those in power can no longer ignore the problem".
The renowned German newspaper FAZ also attests to the Fridays for Future movement that it has brought a new dynamism to the climate debate and at the same time calls for more political support. Politicians should use the momentum of the demonstrations and take the most efficient way to avoid emissions (source: www.faz.net/aktuell/wirtschaft/fridays-for-future-bilanz-was-hat-der-klimastreik-veraendert-16341614.html ).
renerco plan consult will be there again when the rally starts on 20 September at 12 noon on Munich's Königsplatz.
